10 May 2014. Minervino Murge (Barletta-Andria-Trani). Antonio and Carmen, a wedding couple from Lucania, dreamed a super romantic wedding, rich in tradition and full of emotions. A traditional wedding, with a serenade on the day before, at Masseria Barbera in Minervino Murge (Barletta-Andria-Trani) and a suggestive and touching religious ceremony at the Sanctuary of the “Madonna del Sabato”, in Minervino Murge, too, a church dating back to the middle of 17th century, built on a cave, dug into tuff.
The party had a scent of wild flowers, bales of hay and Apulian countryside, invigorated by the couple’s happiness and their friends’ and relatives’ joy. The day after, Carmen, in a princely dress, designed by Vera Wang from the Errico Maria Alta Moda Sposa, wearing on her head a tiara designed by Jenny Packam, crossed the threshold of the Sanctuary feeling highly emotional, preceded by her three bridesmaids (who were also wearing dresses designed by Errico Maria, with white tulle and a green grogren waistband), has made her dream come true.
Her uncontrolled passion for Tiffany was the leitmotif of the whole wedding ceremony. Green Tiffany used for participations, ribbons, centerpiece flower compositions, wedding favors … even the wedding cake and the confetti had this color! The menu, chosen for the guests by the bride and groom together with their wedding planner Francesca Lafratta, was designed and made by two chefs: Angelo Sabatelli and Pietro Zito. They masterfully reinterpreted the cuisine of Apulia in a modern and innovative way: traditional dishes of the territory revisited with creativity and mastery.
Typical dishes of the regional territory, masterfully revisited by mixing products and flavors apparently different from each other. Their vow represented romantic love of the past, a vow destined to remain in every guest’s memory, set just like a green emerald, green … Tiffany!
